Data processing purposes

BUSINESS BREWERY collates and processes client personal data for client and order related purposes (incl. client administration, order/delivery follow-up, invoicing, solvency follow-up, profiling, marketing and personalised advertising).

Legal ground(s) for data processing (deletion or disclosure, as the case may be).

Personal data is processed in accordance with article 6.1. [(a) consent,] [(b) (necessary for the implementation of a contract),] [(c) (necessary in complying with a legislative obligation)], [(f) (necessary in promoting our legitimate interests in operating)] of the General Data Protection Regulation.

[In as far as personal data processing occurs in line with article 6.1. a) (consent), the client is at all times entitled to withdraw their consent.]

Transference to third parties

If required to realise its aforementioned objectives, client personal data will be shared with other companies (within the BUSINESS BREWERY group) within the European Economic Area that are (in)directly affiliated with BUSINESS BREWERY, or with one of its partners; 

BUSINESS BREWERY guarantees these recipients will have the requisite technical and organisational steps in place to safeguard the personal data.


Retention period

The personal data processed for the purpose of client administration will be retained for a period such as is necessary to comply with legislative stipulations (e.g. accounting). 

The right to inspect, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and transfer personal data

The client is at any time entitled to inspect their personal data and can correct, or ask for it to be corrected, if it is incorrect or incomplete. Similarly, the client can have it deleted, can restrict the processing thereof and can object to the processing of the data in question, pursuant to article 6.1 (e) or (f), including profiling on the basis of those provisions.

Moreover, the client is entitled to obtain a copy of their personal data (in a structured, standard and reader-friendly format), and to have the personal data forwarded to another company.

In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights the client is asked to:

  • personally edit their client account settings; and/or

Direct marketing

The client is entitled to object to each direct marketing related processing transaction of their personal data, at no extra cost to themselves.


Complaints

The client is entitled to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (No. 35, Drukpersstraat, 1000 Brussels - commission@privacycommission.be).
